Human Lives Sacred-Defintion

We value human life. The term, all human lives sacred or sanctity of life, refer to the absolute, uncompromised value of all life. It doesn’t matter what stage of development of your existence. Unborn. Newborn. Teens. Adults. Seniors. All people are equally valuable. Nor does it matter if your existence is “normal” or if you have a birth defect or some disability. Nor does it matter if you lives in a diseased or infirm state. And it doesn’t matter what the circumstances of your conception were. What your parents conceived you in. Marriage. Premarital intercourse. An affair. Rape. Incest. Our lives, all of them, have intrinsic value. Things like abortion and euthanasia threaten the value of all human life. Why? Because they re-define some humans as being more valuable than others.

The implications of agreeing with this worldview are clear. We’ve got to do something about this. When the existence of some people isn’t valued, as need to speak up! Who is seen as having a life less worthy than others? The poor. Those with disabilities. Senior Citizens. The unborn. Some minority groups. But the worldview that all lives are sacred celebrates all lives. In that light, I call on you to tell Congress that we want a culture where all lives are protected!
